Do I need to use QR codes?
No. QR codes are for maximum security, but Jade Plus also supports USB-C and Bluetooth if you prefer. Use whichever connection method fits your threat model.
How do I update firmware offline?
Download the firmware file on any computer, copy it to an SD card, insert the SD card into Jade Plus. The device updates itself without any network connection.
Which wallets support QR signing?
Sparrow Wallet, Specter, Nunchuk, and BlueWallet all support air-gapped QR code transactions with Jade Plus. Most serious Bitcoin wallets support this standard.
What is anti-exfiltration?
It's cryptographic protection that prevents a compromised device from leaking your private keys through signatures. Even if someone hacks your Jade Plus, they can't extract keys.
